water drop and leafOur Philosophy

We view rainwater harvesting and catchment as the foundation for sustainable site design.

We view rainwater as a viable alternative and supplemental water source for activities and functions that don't require treated water, such as landscape watering, greenhouses, toilet flushing, and even laundry. This water can also be used for fire suppression and water features. Rainwater can even be used as domestic drinking water when properly treated.

We believe it's possible to create beautiful, functional and sustainable landscapes that respect and honor the value of water in our lives. Landscapes that infiltrate rather than drain; conserve rather than over-extract; clean rather than pollute; cycle rather than hoard; and hydrate rather than dehydrate, serving as a model of abundance as opposed to one of scarcity.
